NOVEMBER 22, 2013 -- We’re sure Deb Barnes breathed a sigh of relief to see the wonderful success of the New London County Pomona Antiques Festival. Deb worked for months to bring the festival to life. A lovely fall day brought a good crowd to the North Stonington Grange grounds for a day of fun, food and fellowship. The Connecticut Troubadour’s nimble fingers danced over the strings of his banjo and guitar while he sang a medley of wonderful old tunes. Several working displays drew many enthralled onlookers, and people waited anxiously to find if their antiques would prove to be worth millions. Pomona sends a great big thank you to Jeff and Deb for a job well done. There are rumors that this might become an annual event and if anyone has any suggestions for making the event even more spectacular, please contact Debbie Barnes.
We are looking forward to visiting Lyme Grange for our holiday party this year. Lyme is planning a potluck supper at 6:30 P.M. with our meeting following at 7:30.
It’s autumn and trees are
changing
To dresses of red and gold.
It’s time to come back to Pomona
For frienships both new and old.
