On September 20, 2013, Riverton Grange had the privilege of welcoming team NRG to be our presenters for an evening. The evening started with a Spaghetti Dinner, coordinated by Cindy and Mark Prelli. This was a great time for Grange members and students from NW Regional #7, to sit down and talk. It was great hearing form the students and learning more about the roles they play on the team. It takes a lot more than just building a robot to be a successful team.

After the dinner a few of their members spoke more about what FIRST Robotics is about and how it started, how the robots were designed and just what being part of a team like this has done for them. At the conclusion of the presentation Phil Prelli acted as auctioneer and we auctioned off all kinds of things; including maple syrup, an apple pie with a big gear on it and fudge, along with other things, raising almost $200 for the team.
