Around The Grange
Oxford Grange to host Harvest Celebration on Oct. 4th
  SEPTEMBER 28, 2013 --

On October 4th, 2013, Oxford Grange #194 invites the public to join them for their 3rd annual Harvest Celebration to be held at their hall at 482 Oxford Rd for an evening of fun and entertainment, beginning at 6:00 PM.  A highlight of the program is the food collection of surplus from home gardens as well as canned and boxed food items to be donated to local area Soup Kitchens.

There will be free pony/horse rides, a mini petting zoo with educational talks about the animals, displays, and games for all with prizes.  Musical entertainment will be provided starting at 7:00 PM.  Refreshments will be served, however all are encouraged to bring an item to share.

Last year’s event was well attended and enjoyed by all. Oxford Grange, which is located on Rt. 67, is between Center School and the Oxford Center Firehouse.

Established in 1867, the Grange is a nonpartisan and nonprofit fraternal organization.  It is the oldest agricultural and rural community service organization.  Please come out and find out what the Grange is all about.

If any questions, call Rob Buck at 203-558-3328 or 203-267-6796.
