| SEPTEMBER 6, 2013 -- Upcoming Meetings in September: Sept 12 - Preparing for our Fair on September 14. This yearís fair will have a tag sale, vendors outside, fruits, vegetables, canning, needlework and baking exhibits in the hall and a chicken barbecue dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 pm followed by an auction of the exhibits and fair decorations. Sept- 26 - Installation of Officers
Past Meetings in July: July 12 - We had our annual picnic in our lower hall. Vern cooked up hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill outside. The rest of the members brought side dishes and salads enough to feed an Army! It was all good and everyone enjoyed themselves. Marge and Carl Bernhardt were also present and Carl, our Pomona deputy, was finally able to finish our inspection. Thankfully the full heat of this July wasn’t in force. We also welcome our newest member Anne Cella. |
