| AUGUST 6, 2013 -- Thanks to Vivian Simons and Betsy Pollack Norfield Grange presented a most successful 3rd Annual Community Tag Sale in June. It was so crowded that we plan to present a new Tag Sale next fall as well as in the spring. Watch for dates!
The big news, of course, is the upcoming Agricultural Fair that will take place on September 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As reported last month, there will be three new contests: “Best Tomato,” “Best Homemade Hooch,” and “Best Cupcake in Connecticut.” Check our website www.norfieldgrange.org or “friend” our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/norfield.grange. We will have professional judges this year, with ten departments and 45 categories.
Finally, we awarded our $350 Camp Berger Campership via Weston Social Services to a most deserving 14 year old Weston boy. It doesn’t get any better than that.
