| JULY 3, 2013 -- Fortunately there are some versatile members in our crew who keep things running despite the absence of key people. Rob and Maggie Buck, for example, have filled in recently for our absent Lecturer, presenting some fine programs. Rob showed some interesting up-to-date information on nutritious foods, and Maggie Buck demonstrated some gardening tips, including giving out petunia plantings to members. Ours looks great on our front porch. Thanks, guys!
Thanks too to those who helped make our Memorial Day sale a success, especially new member June Kostick who did much of the cooking and Beacon Valley members Cindy and Ray who aided us all day.
Congratulations to Beacon Valley Grange on its 124th anniversary. They always celebrate anniversaries in great style and this one was no exception. Seemed nice seeing a packed hall and a good time for all.
