| JULY 6, 2013 -- The summer is pretty much underway as this is being written with the hope of no surprises with the weather. When you read this some of the harvest should be coming in, we are looking for lots of zucchini for the State contest, Mr. Stripey tomatoes and larkspur for our contest.
Our older members in various healthcare facilities would welcome visitors if anyone has a chance. Next year we want to try to set up small wheelchair gardens at some of the local places to the joy of gardening will be available to all.
June 22 we had a meatloaf and strawberry shortcake dinner and will have photos on our website and Facebook.
June 27 was our awards night and it’s nice to see so many folks at our Grange.
July 11: Annual Picnic. Fun and food starts at 6pm at the Grange Hall
Aug. 22: Meeting starts at 7:30 and it starts a new year for us with lots of growth and community activities.
