| FEBRUARY 5, 2013 -- We have some interesting and exciting programs listed above for our members in February and March. We look forward to hearing what books people have been reading, and even trading and sharing them with one another. Come give your book report on Feb 7th! We have two agricultural programs planned, and from them some very useful hints and tips and ideas for your 2013 garden will be shared. Feel free to bring your favorite seed catalogue! It wouldn’t be a surprise to know that some of us have already received our 2013 seed orders, are you one of them??
Please red circle March 16th, at 7:30 pm to come enjoy a double feature of silent movies with live piano music at the Cannon Grange Theater. Our own member, John Mucci will once again be presenting the evening’s entertainment. This is a perfect winter evening for children and adults. We have a huge 10’ x 12’ screen, so the picture is large and every seat provides a great view. The first movie short rolls at 7:30 PM, so come early to grab your favorite seat!
We begin the planning process for our 81st annual agricultural fair very soon. The date for the fair will be August 18th. There’s a second date to red circle on the calendar.
Two of our recent Tweets on Twitter were picked up and recreated by the National Grange into two of their Tweets: “Give the Gift of Grange Membership to Someone...They’ll love it!” and “Don’t wait until January 1 to make your resolution to join the Grange. Do It Now!”. We are ardent supporters and users of Social Media such as Twitter, FaceBook and our website. We encourage and hope other Granges do, too. It really works.
