JANUARY 20, 2013 -- The Connecticut State Grange is sponsoring a Leadership Workshop on Saturday, March 9th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, with guest presenter Carmen Brickner. The event will be held at Goodwill Grange Hall, 43 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury.
The subject of the workshop is "Discovering the Leader Within." We are leading all the time, whether we know it or not. As people of influence within the Grange, someone is watching and learning what is acceptable, admirable, or inappropriate all the time. And the community is learning about the Grange from you.
According to Brickner, "This workshop will be about personal discovery of the best we each bring to the Grange and how we can create strong and cohesive future growth for individuals and the Grange."
The workshop is open to all Grange leaders and members. There is a $5.00 per person Registration Fee. Luncheon Fare will be served, and is included in the cost. Those wishing to attend are to RSVP to CT State Grange President Jody Cameron before March 1st either via phone (860)564-7614 or e-mail president@ctstategrange.org.
