NOVEMBER 29, 2012 -- The winter farmers market at Norfield Grange will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays from Dec. 1 through May 4 in the grange, 12 Good Hill Road, Weston.
Items for sale at the indoor market will include fruits and vegetables, herbs, jams, maple syrup, dairy products, handmade body products, natural beef and pork and wild-caught seafood, among other items, according to a release.
There will also be a Crafters' Corner with hand-knit hats, hair accessories, boxwood wreaths and trees, fresh-cut flowers, artwork, pottery, jewelry and other items made by local artisans.
To celebrate opening day, the market will have a petting zoo and pony rides for children from Runabout Farms, an animal rescue organization.
Attendees who make a purchase from any of the vendors will receive a raffle ticket for a fresh 6-foot to 7-foot balsam fir donated by Weston Gardens.

tickets cost $1 for 3 tickets. The drawing will take place at the market's close at 2 p.m. Dec. 15. |
