| OCTOBER 8, 2012 -- We had great success with our third Roast Beef Dinner on Saturday, September 8th. Despite the threatening heavy rain we had our hall filled to capacity. We made a near record amount of money. A Hootenanny followed the dinner. Jeff Case and friends are attracting a following. They do quite a variety of music and their female vocalist, Bobbie, does excellent covers of Patsy Cline.
Our annual picnic was combined with our regular meeting on Wednesday, September 21. It was held at our Master Nancy Mascio’s house. We had a great time and great food. After a short meeting we did a sing-along of all sorts of songs. Some we may sing at Grange meetings- others we probably need a lot more practice.
On Wednesday, September 19 we hosted the monthly meeting of the Excelsior Pomona at our Bridgewater Grange Hall. Two of our members were installed as officers. Nancy Mascio is Chaplain and Dean Perry is on the Executive Committee.
We will continue with the Bridgewater Grange Roast Beef Dinners. The fourth one this year was on Saturday, October 12 at 5:30 and 6:30 P.M. The menu included roast beef (of course), green beans, mashed potatoes, Jell-O salads, salad, tea, coffee and various desserts. Looking forward to seeing you. The Grange Hall is located next to the Bridgewater Post Office off of the Bridgewater Green.
