| NOVEMBER 13, 2012 -- We were Installed on September 14th by Sue Gray and our family members. It was a very special and meaningful ceremony. Thanks to sister Gray for her efforts, and to Marion Emmons who was the Installing Chaplain. Trevor Gervais went in for his second term as President, Carly Sebastion was installed as Vice President, Conner Sebastion is now our Program Director, Jenna Wesa was installed as Chaplain, Jared Gervais is our Steward, Lillian Sharpe and Allyson DiNola were installed for their second terms as Assistant Steward and Lady Assistant, Maria Angelone was re-installed as Secretary, Emily Bonner is now our Treasurer, and Russell Sharpe is our Greeter. Congratulations officers! We also handed out awards that night, as well as numerous badges, and 2 Super JG pins. Active members Carly Sebastion and Emily Bonner each earned their Super JG pin!! Way to go girls!
We sent $10.00 to the Kelley Farm, and to the National Junior Fund. We also purchased dictionaries, and look forward to presenting them.
At our October meeting, we learned about our host State, Idaho. 7 Juniors earned badges by bringing something to share about Idaho. It was a long program, but, it was FUN and we learned a lot about Idaho! Jenna and Ally shared facts, Lilly had a potato relay game, Corey had a game to identify birds of Idaho, Jon told us about the Shoshone (from Idaho), Jared had a word-search, and Russell had more jokes. GREAT JOB, kids!!
We were also happy to receive FOUR new members at our October meeting. Congratulations to all of our new members!
We have a lot going on in October. At our November meeting we will get our parts for the Christmas play. Now that it’s fall, we’ve kicked it into high-gear. We will be busy! Feel free to stop on by and enjoy the fun!
