| AUGUST 25, 2012 -- This year, the Annual Agricultural Fair at Granby Grange #5 will coincide with the first Granby Open Farms Day on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
Enter your competition item for prizes at the Grange Hall, 212 North Granby Road (CT Rt. 189 North of US 202), Granby, CT. Judging will be Noon Saturday. Categories include quilts, baking (pies, cakes, cookies), flowers, fruits, vegetables and more and prizes will be awarded to the best entries in each category.
The always popular Granby Grange Chicken Barbecue will be on demand from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and tickets are available from any Grange member for a reduced price in advance (or pay full price at the door). Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults or $7.50 for children under 12 years when purchased or reserved in advance with any Grange member. When purchased at the door, full price will be $18.00 for adults or $9.00 for children under 12 years. Get your tickets as soon as you can and SAVE.
The regular set-back card party ($3.00 admission) will start at 7:00 pm on September 8th in the northwest corner of the basement.
