AUGUST 4, 2012 -- Winchester meets twice a month every month and August is no exception with a regular meeting on Indian Heritage on August 14 and our annual Open Meeting & Picnic on Aug. 28. The meal is provided by the Grange so fill up the car and enjoy a nice evening of food, fun and appreciation for the dedication of our many members.
August also means it’s time for our annual Grange Fair and Flea Market at the Grange Hall and on the Winchester Center Green on August 11. Spaces are still available for the Flea Market. Call President Todd Gelineau at 860-626-0326 to reserve your space. A low price of $20 can’t be beat with plenty of profit to be made on the day.
The Grange Hall will be filled with entries of collections, flowers, fruits, vegetables and baking. Have an entry? Call the number above if you would like entry forms or information. (Entry forms can also be downloaded from our website by clicking here.) A large book sale, children’s games and lunch will be served all day long. Take a chance on the many valuable door prizes or just come to spend some time with friends. We would love to see you there!
