| AUGUST 12, 2012 -- Prospect Grange was happy to have been able to furnish four large watermelons to the Prospect Senior Center for their Fourth of July Picnic. Prospect Grange held its annual potluck picnic in July. It was enjoyed by many of our members and grange friends.
Our August meeting taught us about the many insects found in Connecticut and tips on protecting ourselves from those that could cause us harm. We are planning another open house to give out membership awards to our members and a public service award. We are hoping to attract some new members.
Our September 13th meeting will be a neighbors night. A short number for the program would be greatly appreciated. We meet the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Prospect Senior Center. We invite you to come visit us. |
