| JULY 5, 2012 -- The June meeting of Mountain County has not occurred as of this writing. We are scheduled to hold our annual Spring Gift Drawing, our only fundraiser of the Pomona for the year. We thank everyone who purchased or sold tickets and also thank the officers and members who donated the many prizes to the drawing.
Congratulations to Sue Addison and Earl Phillips on winning third prize in the State “A Number” Contest held at Cheshire Grange on June 10. Their skit entitled “Troubles” lamented the many furnace/boiler issues encountered by Mountain County Grange halls this winter. Now that they are all back in operation, Mountain County is truly the “Hot Pomona!” |
