Meriden Grange Roast Pork Supper to benefit Humane Society
  MAY 31, 2012 --

Meriden Grange No. 29 of 540 Broad Street, Meriden, will hold a Family Style Roast Pork Supper and fund-raising event with the Meriden Humane Society on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.  This is open to the public with the admission price of $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  Takeouts will be available.  The Grange will be serving string beans, mashed potatoes, roast pork with apple sauce, Cindy's famous coleslaw, and dessert.

We are again fortunate to hold this supper with the Meriden Humane Society.  Members from the MHS will be helping out with the supper and are asking for donations at the door of: Pedigree dog food, Purina cat and kitten foods, paper towels, small paper plates, paper towels, garbage bags, Lysol sanitizing wipes, and/or Yesterdays News cat litter.

For more than 125 years, Meriden Grange has been active in the local community, holding numerous programs and dinners and raising money for local organizations like the Meriden Soup Kitchen and Meriden Humane Society, as well as hosting their popular annual fair each September.  For more information, please contact Meriden Grange President Robert Charbonneau at (203) 237-4617, via e-mail at info@meridengrange.org, or visit http://www.MeridenGrange.org.
