| MAY 12, 2012 -- We recently took in a new member and two affiliate members.
Our March 17th card party was a great success with good attendance that helped our treasury. We are planning another card party for June with a dinner beforehand. More to follow on that.
Our craft nights continue as well as plans for our late August annual community fair. Another fund raising dinner is on our calendar, one that we have been doing for this particular hiking club for many many years.
We are continually receiving thank you notes from our servicemen and women for the packages we send over to them. They are most appreciative and look forward to being remembered by the folks at home.
Cheshire grange will be having a pasta dinner, salad and dessert and card party with a teacup auction on June2, 2012 at 44 Wallingford Road in Cheshire. The dinner will be served at 6:00 and the card party to start after the dinner. The cost will be $6 to play cards or games $8 for the pasta dinner and $10 for both the dinner and card party.
