APRIL 21, 2012 -- Hillstown Grange is holding our annual Blue Grass Night with the Yankee Blue Grass Jammers. Come and hear 'that old fashion music' on Thursday, April 26th at Hillstown Grange Hall, 617 Hills St., East Hartford, CT.
The music starts at 7:30 PM and is open to the public, no charge for admission and refreshments. This event will be great fun for all ages.
The Hillstown Grange has served the Hillstown area of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester for over 100 years and is part of the oldest agricultural group in America - The National Grange. Founded in 1867, the National Grange is the oldest US rural community service, family-oriented organization with a special interest in agriculture. Over the years, the Grange has evolved to incorporate the interests of all communities. This event is part of Hillstown Grange's Grange Month celebration.
Arrive early and tour the Historic Grange upstairs Hall that has been part of the community for over 100 years where the phrase "American Values with Hometown Values" is a way of life.
