| MARCH 8, 2012 -- On Jan. 20th Riverton Grange celebrated the 104th anniversary of our Grange being in existence. We began with a pot-luck supper in charge of the Past Masters. Four tables were decorated and delicious desserts furnished by Maureen Prelli, Cindy Prelli, Megan Keefe and Raine Pedersen.
Following the supper, Brother Philip Prelli presented Grange Certificates to the following members: Robert O’Connor, 55 years; Dorothy Cappabianca, Shirley Moore and Rujo Moore, 60 years each; and Arba Roberts and Gladys Anstett, 65 years each. The following members were not able to attend this event but have been presented certificates at home: Dorothy Day, Betty Baldwin and Albert Yadach, 50 years each, and Edith Pasquariello, 70 years. These figures add up to 585 years of Grange service. WOW! They deserve our thanks and congratulations for “a job well done”.
The program was prepared by Past Lecturers Gail Prelli and Cindy Prelli. Included in the program was recognition of all Past Masters and Lecturers who were present, a fun game of GRANGO (Bingo) with winners receiving candy bars, and a history of our Grange. It was a fun program and a delightful evening, and we welcome anyone to join us at our meetings or suppers after which we have a program. |
