Due to the weather, Hillstown Grange has rescheduled their first Mid-winter ‘Cabin Fever Escape’ event to be originally held on January 22, 2012 to Saturday, January 28.  Put on your overcoat and escape your home for some indoor family fun.  Doors open at 8 am and runs until 1 pm.  

A pancake and sausage breakfast, homemade Soups for Lunch, Grandma's Tag Sale and Bake Sale are planned.   Come to browse, eat, or just visit the historic Hillstown Grange Hall.   

The Agricultural Committee plans to announce this year’s special vegetable contest.  Also a garden forum will start at 10 am giving all gardeners a chance to talk and dream about our 2012 gardens.  Bring your favorite seed catalogs to share.  Great for novice or first time gardeners to learn from the old pros.  Remember, in less than 2 months we can plant our peas!

The Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT.  Located in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester since 1888.  The Grange is the oldest Agricultural group in the United States.
