DECEMBER 15, 2011 -- The author of a cookbook focused on Connecticut farmers and food producers will conduct a book signing Saturday, Dec. 17, during the Winter Farmers Market at the Norfield Grange, 12 Good Hill Road in Weston.
Emily Brooks, author of "Connecticut Farmer & Feast," will be at the grange from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., farmers market officials said.
The book profiles more than 40 Connecticut food producers who turn out produce, cheeses, meats and other foods. The book includes recipes featuring each producers's products, market officials said.
Brooks lives in Woodbury and is the founder of the Edibles Advocate Alliamnce and the Bridges Health Cooking School. |
