DECEMBER 3, 2011 -- Westonites can get a taste of something sweet today as honey sommelier and author Marina Marchese is the featured guest at the Winter Farmers Market at the Norfield Grange.
During this event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Marchese will host her signature Artisanal Honey Tasting and will sign copies of her book, “Honeybee: Lessons from an Accidental Beekeeper.”
“We are thrilled to be hosting Marina Marchese of Red Bee Honey for a book signing and honey tasting,” said grange market master Lyn Kimberly.
Marchese will also showcase her Red Bee Artisanal Honeys and her honey-based skin care products, including lip balms, soaps, honey facial scrubs and beeswax balms. She has also dedicated her life to raising honeybees and educating chefs, foodies and beekeepers about the culinary delights of artisanal honey.
The Norfield Grange, located at 12 Good Hill Road, is a community center that hosts events for the residents of Weston.
