Winchester Grange Fall Musings

By Todd Gelineau, Winchester Grange President

  NOVEMBER 11, 2010 --

Winchester Grange has been busy during this fall season.  On October 9, the Grange participated in Winchester Day, an event coordinated with the Winchester Center Congregational Church, Winchester Center Volunteer Fire Dept., the Winchester Center Historical Association and the Little Red Schoolhouse.  The church offered a quilt show and sold fried dough.  The Historical Association provided tours of their museum and offered demonstration on pressing apple cider.  The fire department showed off their equipment and a book sale was held at the Little Red Schoolhouse.  The Grange contributed with a fall tag sale.  All groups reported excellent attendance and participation.  This event will definitely be repeated next year.  It’s always wonderful to see the entire community pull together for a common cause.

Our Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 6 from 9:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Grange Hall.  Many vendors are signed up.  Please join us!
