Around The Grange
Cawasa Grange keeping busy this winter

By Maggie Schofield, Cawasa Grange

  FEBRUARY 8, 2011 --

We are still busy with the food bank.  Each month we get together at the community center kitchen and make something for the food bank clients.

January was Bow-Tie Soup in a jar.  It is lots of fun and next month will have pictures to show.

February will be Heart cookies with red sprinkles. We have an assembly line and do our work with a lot of laughs and talk.

We had our School of Instruction with Deputy Lin Erickson, which was very interesting.

We would love to enter the flag presentation if we can find enough Grangers to do so.

Sister Lin and I are attending the Grange 2011 and Beyond on Feb. 12th, looking forward to that!

Quote of the month:  Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while Bad people will find a way around the laws.” Plato (427-347 B.C.)

Funny Saying:  When she saw her first strands of gray hair, she thought she’d dye!
