Around The Grange
The latest happenings from Bridgewater Grange

By Bridgewater Grange (11/15/10)

  NOVEMBER 15, 2010 --

As I write this the change in temp and colors sends the message that summer has ended and Holidays are approaching.

We at the Grange Hall wish to thank all our town folks whole heartedly for all their support of our roast beef dinners.

We recently ordered "A Child's Dictionary" for all of the third graders at Burnham and Booth Free Schools. This is something we are proud to do every year, as part of the National Grange Words for Thirds Dictionary Project.

We will be making up about 30 fruit baskets to deliver to the homebound and nursing homes for Thanksgiving.

Of course, we will have our annual Grange Christmas tree lighting on the green Friday, December 3rd, 7:00 PM sharp, with Hot Chocolate, cookies, and Santa to follow in the Grange Hall.

We will be offering the 55 Alive drivers course again in the Spring. Please contact Chris Shook, 860-354-2581 with any questions you may have about signing up for this course. The date is to be determined and there will be more information soon.

Be good citizens and watch your speed limits on the highway! Until next time, safe driving!
