| JULY 6, 2010 -- Music filled the air as the crowd danced into the evening as the Youth Committee of New London County Pomona Grange recently hosted their annual fundraiser at the Preston City Fire Station.
Held every June for many years at the meeting location of Preston City Grange (Junction of Routes 164 and 165 in Preston City), the June 5th event had a large turnout and record number of dance sets.
Music was provided by "Farmer Joe and His Country Friends," led by Preston City Grange member Joe LoPresti. "Farmer Joe" LoPresti is the long time President of Preston City Grange No. 110 as well as long time Youth Committee Chairman of New London County Pomona Grange.
Refreshments were available throughout the evening, as well as door prizes of plants from the LoPresti Farm. Numerous plants were available and no one left empty handed. Extra plants were sold to attendees.
