| JULY 1, 2010 -- The annual Lyme Fourth of July parade and picnic will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 4th. Parade participants should meet by the Camp Claire ball field on Cove Road.
Following the parade, various activities will be held at Lyme Grange Hall on Route 156. All are encouraged to participate and enjoy the activities, as planners will be kicking off what they hope will become another parade tradition.
New this year to the activities organized by the town's Parks and Recreation Department is the reading of the winning submission to the Independence Day essay contest for students at the Lyme Consolidated School.
