| MAY 3, 2007 -- The theme of the open house, which will take place at the Route 133 Grange Hall this Wednesday, will be "Youth of Today and How they Relate to Agriculture in Our Community."
Festivities will include a butter demonstration with the New Milford 4-H Dairy Club, a maple syrup making discussion with the New Milford Youth Agency and a program with the Future Farmers of America from Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury.
In addition, Bill Rondeau will discuss beehives and honey harvesting and grange youth chairman Cindy Bennett will address small farming and exhibit a baby goat.
Refreshments will be served.
